LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

I would like wish each member a Happy New Year for 2005. I am very honored to be the President of this organization and I am looking forward to a great year.

I am very fortunate to have a great Board of Directors. One goal for this year is to increase the communication between the Board of Directors and the membership. The board will be addressing ways to increase the communications links, and I would like to encourage each of you to provide suggestions. Included in the newsletter is a list of the Board Members and email addresses. Sheila Johnstone-Ferendeli, Vice President of Communications and Louella Hunt, Director at Large will be focusing on this goal.

Jeann Howse has begun the year with a line up of great programs, and I want to see each of you at the meetings. The mentoring programs are in full swing. We are always in need of more volunteers. Beth Ann Scher, Vice President of Mentoring will be happy to discuss the programs.

Women on the Move® was a great success this past year, and Margo Snider is all ready making plans for 2005.

I would like to encourage each of you to read The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz. I like to use the agreements in my business, teaching, professional and personal relationships.

They are:
1. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
2. DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
3. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST

I am going to try and do all of these as your President.

CHRISTMAS PARTY PICS

About 50 people came to dinner clueless, eventually bribing with money to get clues to the myster. How is that for business ethics? (hahaha)

The title of the play was "Who Killed the Boss?" The servers were also the characters in the mystery.
