LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Beverly Kaufman

October President's Message

Beautiful October! My favorite month of the year. And it's the perfect time to focus on our purpose and goals as active TEW members. The Women on the Move Luncheon® is fast approaching, so it's important for every member to Fall in and support this key event in our annual activities. The level of success of this fund raiser determines whether we rise or Fall in our efforts to guide and support young women. So purchase tickets. Bring friends. Sell sponsor tables.

As in every case, we can expect to get as much out of an organization as we put into it. We don't want to see any member Fall by the wayside. We like to see familiar faces at every meeting and activity and count on their continued membership. We share and support one another in our ongoing career pursuits through fellowship and continuing education. We pick one another up when we Fall down.

Your Board of Directors has worked diligently this year to make your membership worthwhile through interesting programs and social events. Come to the next meeting to assure our attendance doesn't Fall off. We've followed through with mentoring programs which should be the envy of any organization. Our scholarships are sought after and utilized by many deserving young women. With your commitment we can look forward to many years of productive activism. Help us assure we never Fall from grace. And please help us achieve a sell-out Women on the Women on the Move Luncheon® October 19. Hope to see you there! Think of it as the Fall harvest!

Beverly Kaufman
